Laura Berry, a self taught watercolourist, was born in Scarborough, Ontario in 1960, the third of five children. Laura and her husband Glenn, a Brampton firefighter, presently reside near Mansfield, Ontario with their three sons - who provide her with endless inspiration for her art.

A few years after graduating from York University, with an honors degree in Visual Arts, Laura discovered her enjoyment of painting with watercolours, particularly the challenge and diversity of the medium. Combined with her love of painting young children, Laura frequently uses vibrant colours in rustic settings to create heartwarming scenes of home and family.

With over 90 limited edition prints to her credit, Laura has also created several exclusive projects including works of art for Labatt and the Starlight Foundation.

Laura's limited edition prints are available in a number of galleries throughout southern Ontario and across Canada. As well, the Laura Berry Gallery is nestled in the scenic Hockley Village where visitors can browse through a varied display of originals, prints and collectibles.

With her unique style and attention to detail, Laura's paintings take us beyond the everyday and into the realm of her imagination.
